ksb-med.org website and CPD Evaluation Form app
Last updated: 1 October 2026

This policy explains what information AMETI – Academy of Medical Education and Training, part of the Qimam Foundation for Health & Education Services (“we”, “us”), collects when you use our website ksb-med.org (“the website”) and our CPD Evaluation Form mobile app (Android package cpd.evaluation, “the app”), how we use it, and your choices. The website and the app are connected services: the website publishes our CPD events, announcements and resources, and the app lets attendees of those events submit feedback.

Summary

  • You can browse the website without creating an account or signing in.
  • We only collect personal information you choose to give us, for example through the Contact form or an event evaluation form.
  • We do not use advertising or third-party analytics/tracking tools, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising or marketing.
  • The app has its own section below with details specific to the app.

1. Information we collect on the website

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, any health or medical information about yourself or patients through the website.

2. Cookies

The website uses only cookies that are needed for it to work, such as cookies that protect forms against spam, remember settings, or keep site administrators signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the public website will still work, though some forms may not. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

3. Third-party services used by the website

  • Web hosting (Hostinger) – our website and its data are stored on servers provided by our hosting company, which processes data only to provide the hosting service.
  • Google Fonts and cdnjs (Cloudflare) – fonts and icons are loaded from these services. When your browser loads them, these providers receive your IP address and basic browser information. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
  • Links to other websites – our pages may link to partner organisations and other sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

4. CPD Evaluation Form app

The app lets attendees of our CPD events submit feedback. No account or sign-in is required.

Information the app collects

Information When Purpose
Your answers to the evaluation form (ratings, choices, comments) When you submit a form To evaluate and improve the CPD event
Your name (optional) Only if the form asks for it and you fill it in To identify your response, for example for CPD attendance records
Your email address (optional) Only if the form asks for it and you fill it in To contact you about the event or your CPD record if needed
Technical details: event code, app version, selected language (English/Arabic), and a random submission ID With each submission To deliver the right form, prevent duplicate submissions, and troubleshoot problems
IP address and basic request information Automatically, whenever the app contacts our server Security and server operation (standard server logs)

The app does not collect your location, contacts, photos, files, advertising identifiers, or any health or medical information about you. It contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs.

Camera permission

The app asks for camera access only when you tap “Scan QR code”. The camera image is processed on your device to read the event code and is never saved or uploaded. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings and enter the event code manually instead.

Offline storage on your device

If you submit a form without an internet connection, your submission is stored temporarily on your device and sent automatically once you are back online. It is removed from the device after it has been delivered. Uninstalling the app also deletes any unsent submissions.

Where app data goes

Submissions are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our server at mlmsksb.com, where they are accessible only to authorised AMETI staff and event organisers for reporting on event quality and CPD administration.

The app also checks Expo’s update service (u.expo.dev) for app updates. This request downloads app code only; it does not include your answers, name or email, though the service necessarily receives your IP address and basic device platform information to deliver the update.

5. How we use your information

  • To answer your enquiries and provide our services.
  • To run, evaluate and improve our CPD events and keep CPD attendance records.
  • To send newsletters, only if you asked for them.
  • To keep the website, app and servers secure and working properly.
  • To meet our legal and professional obligations.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing.

6. How long we keep data

  • Contact messages: kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted.
  • Newsletter list: kept until you unsubscribe.
  • App feedback submissions: kept for as long as needed for event quality reporting and CPD record-keeping, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Server logs: kept for a limited period for security purposes, then deleted.

7. Your rights and choices

  • Optional fields (such as phone number, or name and email in the app) can be left blank.
  • You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any newsletter or by contacting us.
  • You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below. For app submissions, please include the event name and the date you submitted it.

8. Children

The website and the app are intended for adult health professionals and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

The website and the app use HTTPS encryption, and access to stored information is restricted to authorised staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be posted on this page and reflected in the app’s store listing.
